What the fuck just happened? I mean here I am thinking that nothing would go wrong with the Elder Scrolls series other than a few bugs and glitches that can be patched, but this...ya gone fucked up! There is just so much that is wrong about this game, it's like this game is going through an identity crisis and painted itself to look like an Elder Scrolls game but it's not. It lacks the heart and soul of the Elder Scrolls, it lacks the motivation, it feels like there was little effort in the game, it's a game that tries to be like World of Warcraft, only it does a crappy job at it. For example, not only do I have to pay say sixty dollars to own the game, I have to pay fifteen dollars a month in order to play it and another twenty dollars just to play as the Imperial, a Horse, craft Imperial Gear and have a Mudcrab for a pet...are you fucking serious!? So with all that added up, that comes to a total of ninety five dollars plus, and when I say plus I mean you have to add another fifteen for every month for how long you want to play it so a years worth would be like two hundred and sixty dollars just for that first year and one hundred and eighty for the next...that shit is asinine!

But is all that spending of money worth it? No, no of course not! You know why, where do I begin. Well for starters the so called climatic battle between both the people of Tamriel and the forces of Oblivion Invasion was hyped way to much. Look at the trailer, that's what people expected to go against, an army of daedra and monsters, killing foe after foe with your friends and allies as you serve under the banner of your faction. What actually came out was piss poor, the actual Daedric Invasion is say a few small Oblivion gates, with one or two scamps coming out every few seconds after one is killed, they're easy to kill especially when you're in a team, and one if not some or most of the Oblivion Gates last for less than a minute when you enter the gate and take the Sigil Stone, forty five seconds at best. Yeah, hand crafted dungeons alright, hand crafted from a toddler!

And the gameplay, forget about playing with your friends because that shit dont work! You dont understand, well let me explain by showing an example. So there are two of you, you and your friend, going along in a dungeon. In the dungeon you have to go through a puzzle and a boss, nothing else. So when you reach the puzzle and you solved it on your own to progress through the dungeon, your friend also have to solve the puzzle as well to progress. Then when you reach the boss you go and kill it okay, and guess what, your friend is still fighting the boss. And you cant help them for shit, you cant even help them on quests that you've already done! I'm sorry but what does MMO mean again? MASSIVE MULTIPLAYER ONLINE! Yes you can see other players but you can hardly interact with them for shit! I've seen games older than this do better, I've seen Diablo 2, Borderlands, fuck even Adventure Quest Worlds is better than this!

Grinding in this game is a joke and an annoyance to other players, like basically one dungeon or another you're going to encounter a guy in a dungeon just standing around in a room full of giant spiders as the Giant Spider boss respawns every minute so the guy can kill it again and litter the room with more spider corpses. Looting is pathetic because you know how many gold you get every time you kill someone, one gold piece! You'd be lucky if you found two gold pieces, and the only way to truly get around is on horse back. You know how much it costs for a horse? seventeen thousand gold, over forty five thousand gold if you want a horse that matters! So money is hard as shit to get and sometimes for some odd reason when you kill someone even a boss, sometimes you don't get any gold!

And the bugs, unlike Skyrim where most of the bugs were just nuisances, these bugs are breakable, as in it'll ruin your so called "fun" time playing this game from quests that are broken to the game crashing on you constantly. And the Crime and Thievery system, you know for players who wants to play as the cunning thief or master criminal, well there is hardly a system like that. So good luck thieves and crime lords, you're going to need it in this game. And remember when they said you could explore all of Tamriel, well you cant really, but the areas are massive so I'll give it that, plus there's a lot of content to this so there was potential to this game, but nope apparently someone in the house gone fucked it up!

I can say that the voice acting is beautifully well done, and the soundtrack is pretty nice, but the immersion of this game is piss poor, mostly you'll go "That's it?" for almost every quest you do. It slowly drains your excitement and happiness as you play the game as you are reminded that you paid over sixty dollars for this shit. It's souless and half assed, like the creators of this game when they were just half way of making it went lazy and just said fuck it. One of the only things that are good about this game is the Player Versus Player, it's fun, you're on your toes, and you can do quests in it as well but with it aside we have ourselves a very disappointing game. This game had potential, and I really hoped that I would love this game, but I couldn't. It lacked the feeling that Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim had that made it interesting, it lacked the wow factor that the Elder Scrolls series stood upon, the story was interesting to boot, but the gameplay and mechanics were just too much. It saddens me to see this, and the only way to play it is by paying fifteen dollars a month for it. Eventually this game will become free after the sixty or so dollar purchase and these bugs and mechanics will be fixed. But who is to blame here, to me I blame Zenimax Online and Bethesda as well only because they allowed this to go through. All I can say now is to hope in the future things will be better.
It's a shame, this game really did had potential, but maybe in the future things will get better.

So glad I thought it would turn out just like this and never bothered.
