History:
On the date of his birth, Black-Scales was raised along with his two siblings by his mother and a father who died during the Akaviri Invasion of 572 of the Second Era. His brother Iron-Blood-Fang who grew up to become a Bandit Overlord and ruled over vast armies of marauders and murderers that dwelled within the underground confinements of Tamriel, and his sister Red-Water-Dance who grew up to be a Dark Brotherhood Agent and Master Thief who uses her stealth to sneak into high rank of certain guilds and steal valuables for her personal gain. Though he was weaker in physic and skill compared to his two siblings, he was gifted in the arts of magic, primarily the School of Conjuration

Much like his father who helped with the Dark Elves of Morrowind and the Nords of Skyrim during the Akaviri Invasion, he followed his footsteps and through the studies of magic he grew up to became one of the arcane troops of the Ebonheart Pact during the Three Banners War. During his service he grew a well earned bondage with his fellow Argonian people as well as the Dunmer troops even though he was considered mostly just a beast than a person. However, after seeing and having his hand in certain battles against the Daggerfall Covenant and the Aldmeri Dominion, he started to believe that the Nords were the inferior race across Tamriel where all he see in them were just drunken brutes and cared more on their traditions instead of the condition that surrounds them. At one point he even threatened the High King over his negligence over what they're facing in the war and nearly got kicked out of the Pact and going rogue with either the Daggerfall Covenant or with the Daedra Worshipers of Molag Bal.

There was however one Nord he could tolerate much less had feelings over, a Nord woman named Lisasha. They were both partnered up in the beginning of the war and stayed that way till the end. They both grew a great relationship between each other to going as far as being considered as lovers. Unfortunately, Lisasha and the rest of Black-Scales' team gotten ill and died, Lisasha being the last to go. Before she died, she gave Black-Scales her necklace to remember her by and wears it to this day. With not only the loss of his entire team and the one he loved, he fell into depression and left the Pact to pursue his own goals.

After the war, he travels to Cyrodill and joins up with the Mages Guild to further his studies of the magical arts. In only a few months he advanced quite quickly through the guild's ranks due to his unique creations of spells, scrolls, enchanted staves and other trinkets and even help improve the Imperial Legion's Battlemage uniform. He was considered amongst his peers as one of the best enchanters in the guild. Within the Arcane University he would invest his time on the research of the lost races, his most interested was of the Dwemer where he was even able to fund an expedition to Morrowind's Red Mountain and collect whatever he could find. He managed to collect several artifacts but his most prized possession was what he believed to be the ancient remains of a Dwemer soldier. In secrecy he took the remains and began his experimentation on Necromancy to try and reanimate the dead Dwemer. His experiment was a success, bringing a Dwemer skeleton back to life but unfortunately the undead Dwemer had little to no memories of his past due to the severe trauma that befell him. He didn't want to dispose his first necromantic experiment however but instead keep him around as an assistant to which took him a lot of convincing to let him keep what he named the skeleton "Higgans" to the University. Together Black-Scales and Higgans started to grow a stronger bond with each other and became not just master and assistant but close friends as well.

But several years later he was soon kicked out from the guild for illegal and dangerous practices of dark magic such as Necromancy and Daedra Worshiping as well as causing several deaths of students within the Arcane University. He didn't leave empty handed however for with the help of Higgans, Black-Scales managed to steal plenty of arcane secrets from the guild and sworn vengeance that he will be back. After his expulsion from the Mages Guild, he joined up with a small group of necromancers and as a peace offering to them, he shared with what knowledge and secrets he had discovered while within the Mages Guild. Over the years with the help of the necromancers he sided with, he improved his crafts over the arts of Conjuration from not only raising the dead but also call upon those from the planes of Oblivion itself. He had his fair share of bloodshed, killing travelers with his conjured arsenal of weapons from close combat, to far ranged lightning bolts and so on but he only killed for what's necessary such as resupplying food, more research materials, and books where as the other necromancers killed just for the sake of money and petty rituals Black-Scales found inferior to his own work.

In his remaining time with his necromantic peers, he invested his time into the research of immortality without the need of Vampirism nor Lichdom. With no direction on where to start, he was left with no choice but to consort with who he once considered to be his enemy, Molag Bal the Daedric Prince of Domination, the Harvester of Souls, and the Father of all Vampires. He had asked of this powerful daedra to give him the knowledge of immortality and in return he would offer his own life to serve him for all eternity. With the bargain fulfilled, Black-Scales with his knew knowledge created a special elixir that when consumed he regained his perfect youth, becoming ageless and grew stronger by the day. But as it is to consorting with the Daedra, with all that power came several side effects that shared common symptoms to Vampirism. His skin paled, his eyes changed into a bright red orange hue, his fangs grew longer, his senses extended, and his claws grew sharper. And with his new found immortality, he must also consume the blood of Orcs to keep himself young due to the main component for the elixir was the blood of the Daedra.

But even with such a price, Black-Scales cared only for the results and was glad about it, but word soon spread among his peers of his immortality elixir and heard that they wanted to steal his formula and use it for their own sinister needs. Not wanting this, he took what he can from his peers and fled in the middle of night before his peers were to capture him and torture him to give them the formula to the elixir. As decades went by, he hid himself away in many points across Cyrodill from the cold mountains near Skyrim to the swamp lands near his homeland of Black Marsh. During this time he continued studying more about the arcane secrets of the world and research on ways to increase the potency of his elixir. Years and years went by as he studied various subjects that involved Dwemer automation's to the point that he would know every nut and bolt on a Centurion and be able to construct one of his own, to the secrets of magic and enchantments of the Ayleids. In his spare time also, he would travel and consort himself with several Daedric Cults from Boethiah and Sheogorath, to Sanguine and Varmina, and even Hermarus Mora and Peryite.

In the year 432 of the Third Era, he was soon captured for his crimes by a young paladin who sent him to the Imperial City Prison where he spent less than a few days in a cell until he managed to find a secret passage way and escaped without notice. With his escape, he quickly rushed back to his old lair and gathered his things to move into an Ayleid ruin near Bravil, where he could continue his research. But in time he began to worry about what would happen if he were to be caught again, and being threaten by such fact, he needed to be more careful than he was before. He would grave rob only those that were forgotten, invest in certain shops that would take what he has, and contacting with certain guilds and guild members to help him in his time of need if necessary such as the Dark Brotherhood.

During the Oblivion Crisis, he found it as an advantage to further his research over the Daedra, and with word being an unusual gate in front the city of Kvatch he set off and delved into the Oblivion Gate and taken the Sigil Stone. During his travel to Kvatch he was then attacked by a group of cultist assassins in which he took care of with ease. Upon looting one of the bodies he discovered a strange and bejeweled amulet. Hoping that the Thieves Guild would appraise it, he took it and continued on his path to Kvatch. After heading to Kvatch and get inside the Oblivion gate, he managed to not only take the Sigil Stone but also seal the Oblivion Gate once and for all. The nearby people soon claimed him to be the Hero of Kvatch. He didn't much care for such title, but if it meant that he would not be stopped from taking Sigil Stones then it was alright by him. Still in Kvatch, he helped the local guards to save the people still trapped inside the practically destroyed cathedral. He manages to get inside and lead the people out of the city, only to meet up with an old friend he met years before; Martin Septim.

The two knew each other from the fact that they were both in the same cult worshiping Sanguine and both were surprised to see one another after all this time. Martin explained to Black-Scales the current situation on what has happened saying that with the Emperor and all of his heirs assassinated and the Amulet of Kings being taken, the barrier between Nirn and Oblivion has been taken down and now a group of cultists known as the Mythic Dawn wishes to rule all of Tamriel with the help with the Daedric Prince of Destruction, Merunes Dagon. Recognizing the name of the Amulet of Kings, he took out the amulet he took from the cultists he killed and showed it to Martin, upon revealing the amulet to Martin the amulet made a glowing hue when it became close to Martin. Unsure of this, Martin asked Black-Scales to help him get to Jauffre near the city of Chorrol and return the Amulet of Kings. Traveling to Chorrol, they head down to the priory and talked to Jauffre and explained to him of the Amulet of Kings.

Jauffre then explains that Martin is secretly the last heir to the throne and that he must stop the Oblivion Crisis. And as time pass, Black-Scales and Martin soon became great friends. Talking to each other, drinking tea, and solving one issue after another to try to end the Oblivion Crisis. At one moment of their journey, Black-Scales got his hands on the Mysterium Xarxies and delivered it to Martin for him to look through. However, such secrets that is contained in such relic tempted him. Each passing day Black-Scales would ask about the contexts within the old tome, only for Martin to refuse and remind him of the dangers that the book contained. The more he would ask, the more he so greatly desired to look through its pages. After the events of Paradise, Black-Scales snuck into Martin Septim's room and stole the Mysterium Xarxies only to be chased off and leave Martin. As he looked through the book and taking notes, guilt took him and took enough notes to go and return it. But as he traveled to Cloud Ruler Temple where Martin was supposed to be, from a distance he could see the Imperial City being attacked by none other than Mehrunes Dagon himself.

In quick succession, Black-Scales rushed into the city, killing Daedra left and right and following the trail of bodyguards that have been killed to the Temple district. He reaches into the temple to find Martin and apologized greatly for his actions and begged for forgiveness. Knowing their friendship, Martin forgave him only to step into the center of the temple and sacrifice himself to send Mehrunes Dagon back to Oblivion and reassuring the barriers between Oblivion and Nirn are forever sealed. From the wreckage, Black-Scales was recovered by High Chancellor Ocato and knowing him from what Martin described, he believed that Black-Scales was the one that helped Martin and in reward he granted Black-Scales the title The Champion of Cyrodill. However with all the rewards and praise he has gotten, he knows what truly happened, and it tore him apart with the loss of his greatest friend. In his rage, he blamed the Blades. That it was they who convinced him in letting him die, that they were not there to protect him nor the heirs and that it was their fault the Oblivion Crisis started in the first place.

Many decades have passed, with Black-Scales slowly becoming nothing more than a mere legend, a folk tale of a dark hero that roams the dead of night. Traveling all across all of Tamriel and having his fair share of influence upon history left nameless.
